Areas within labelling applications that igus® products are used

Transverse and height adjustment of belt station

1. Transverse and height adjustment of belt station

The transverse adjustment of the belt station is guaranteed by an iglidur® J trapezoidal thread flange nut, which is lubrication-free and insensitive to dirt. For the height adjustment, iglidur® J flange nuts are used.
Height adjustment of sleeve brush

2. Height adjustment of sleeve brush

The height adjustment of the sleeve brush is ensured by a trapezoidal lead screw nut in combination with drylin® R solid plastic plain bearings . This made it possible to work very compactly and cost-effectively.
Transverse and height adjustment of pre-shrink unit

3. Transverse and height adjustment of pre-shrink unit

The height adjustment of the pre-shrink unit was implemented with a drylin® SLW-1040 lead screw module including clamping, position indicator and crank for format adjustment.
Height adjustment of hold-down device

4. Height adjustment of hold-down device

A lead screw module of the type SLW-2080 is used at the height adjustment of the hold-down device. It enables a simple and user-friendly operation of the machine. In addition, plastic energy chains undertake the guidance of the cables.
Adjustment of infeed and outfeed sensor

5. Adjustment of infeed and outfeed sensor

Infeed as well as outfeed sensor are adjusted with a WS-1040 profile rail and a carriage including manual clamping. By the individual carriages, the adjustment could be made very compact and flexible.
Height adjustment of guide roller

6. Height adjustment of guide roller

A drylin® SLW-1040 lead screw module including angle drive and accessories is used for the height adjustment of the guide roller. It was possible to make the compact adjustment unit more user-friendly by deploying the angular drive.
Film accumulator with guide rollers

7. Film accumulator with guide rollers

Previously used metallic bearings in the guide rollers did not run smoothly enough and the complete roller stopped sometimes. Today, they each consist of two smooth-running xiros® polymer ball bearings and an anodised aluminium tube.
Adjustment of safety door

8. Adjustment of safety door

Lastly, the adjustment of the safety door is provided by the drylin® N-27 series . The extremely flat guide could be accommodated in a very confined space.
