Product description
Room linear robot - Strong & Reliable
The new standard linear robot system especially for palletising applications ensures reliable and flexible loading and unloading of pallets. The drylin® room linear robot can lift a weight of up to 10kg and is thus our strongest room linear robot.

Application examples
Typical applications of our drylin® room linear robots are pick and place, conveyor belt picking, sorting tasks, stacking tasks and, of course, palletising applications in three-dimensional space.

X-axes
consisting of: two drylin® ZLW-20120 toothed belt axes, toothed belt tension 700N, feed 144mm/rev, aluminium profile, surface: hard-anodised, PU toothed belt with stainless steel tension, white, guide carriage in length 200mm, shaft end supports made of aluminium, driven on one side by an igus stepper motor in installation size NEMA24 with encoder and gearbox (i=5:1), mechanical synchronisation by main shaft AWMP-12

Y-axis
consisting of: drylin® ZLW-20200 toothed belt axis, toothed belt tension 700N, feed 144mm/rev, aluminium profile, surface: hard-anodised, PU toothed belt with stainless steel tension, white, guide carriage in length 200mm, shaft end supports made of aluminium, driven by an igus stepper motor in installation size NEMA24 with encoder and gear (i=5:1)

Z-axis
consisting of: drylin® GRR-20120 cantilever axis, AWMR hollow shafts, feed rate: 72.26mm/rev, aluminium shafts, guide carriage in length 100mm, incl. adjustable housing bearings, shaft end support made of aluminium, driven by an igus stepper motor in installation size NEMA24 with encoder & brake

Control system
The linear robot can be controlled directly by our igus® Robot Control with all its advantages. If you want to use your own (robot) control system, it is also easily feasible.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system which controls the coordination of the movement. The motor control systems are not a component of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.

Connection cables
Various cables are available for the electrical connection. In the standard version you can choose between three different lengths and two different connector types. You need one cable each for the motor connection, the encoder connection and the brake. To make sure things don't get too complicated, we've put together cable sets for you. Just contact us about it.

Optional accessories
Proximity switches, connection cables, energy chains and control systems are available upon request.

Further information
In addition, further strokes up to 3m are available as standard and, after technical testing, up to 6 m and 20kg.
If you are unsure whether you can use the product as you want, feel free to contact us or use our Linear robot configurator (beta).
