Robot cable management - triflex® R

In robotic applications, rotating, pivoting and 3D movements are part of everyday life. Robot dress packs are essential to safely guide and protect robot cables. The triflex® R 3D robot cable management have been specifically developed for multi-axis robots. Due to its high tensile force absorption and high flexibility, triflex® R dress packs enable a rotation of about ±10° per chain link with complicated motions in the vertical axes. Compared to a cable protection hose, triflex® R offers a  defined bend radius, which greatly increases the service life of cables and hoses.
The triflex® R's modular design, can be easily lengthened and shortened, comes with a fibre rod option and offers easy filling and assembly.

TRX | integrated retraction system

  • The TRX complements the functions of the triflex® R series and now also makes them telescopic.
  • Due to their patented design, the chain links of the TRX allow a length compensation of up to 40% to one another without losing the connection or the torsion resistance.
  • The rubber band inside the TRX retracts the links back to their starting point and the retraction force can be adjusted via the rubber band 
  • Weight reduction of up to 83% compared to a solution with a retraction system (RSP)
  • The TRX design study is currently 100% compatible with the TRE.60.087.0.B, other chain sizes will follow.
