Woman or machine? The humanoid robot “Actroid” can be applied as a guide or as a contact person at a reception desk. Production- and maintenance-costs of the machine with the human look should be considerably reduced.  Products from igus® are installed at several positions: igubal® flange bearings EFOM at the neck joint, at the waist or hip of the robot woman. The number of required parts could be reduced by its installation. Apart from that, they are maintenance- and lubrication-free, which protects this product against soiling.
