This is why we are so quick

At igus®, everything comes from a one source. From bearing technology to cables and energy supply systems, we manufacture our products ourselves. We also assemble products at our headquarters in Cologne and, depending on the product category, in branch offices. That is why cables harnessed with connectors, or energy chains equipped with cables can arrive on site in no time. We started expanding our capacities at our main production site in Cologne at an early stage to be able to deliver plain and linear bearings, energy chains and highly flexible cables sold by the metre at any time.

What we have done

  • Since 2021, we have purchased 380 new injection-moulding machines, and replaced 275 old ones with new, more efficient ones (date: 05/2022)
  • We have created 12,000 additional storage spaces for pallets
  • We started constructing a new production building: 20,000m² will be available as of spring 2023

How you can benefit

  • Over 97% availability of all catalogue parts, over 243,000 items in stock
  • Fast delivery worldwide due to a network of 30 branches and partners in over 80 countries
  • No minimum order value, no surcharges for small quantities
  • No costs for cutting cables

iform toolmaking

iform - we build injection-moulding tools ourselves

We build our injection-moulding tools in our own tool shop. Development, production, sampling - we are responsible for all stages of tool technology. And short distances require less time. Depending on the order volume, a tool can also be produced within short time as print2mold via 3D printing from our proven high-performance polymers. We can also carry out quick tool repairs and maintenance, thus ensuring the availability of our products.
