X-ray machine
This X-ray machine, which is extremely flexible, is a world first. It is not fixed firmly to the floor, allowing it to be moved near to the patient in any position. The energy supply is realised via an igus® e-chain® of the E4.80 series which is attached to the ceiling and follows the machine's movements by unrolling or retracting the chain. The e-chain® is installed lying on its side. The e-chain® pushers are mounted on rotary plates to give the X-ray machine even more freedom of movement.GE Healthcare, Guy Bertrand, Buc, France
