drylin® T linear rails

drylin T linear rails - robust, durable and low-maintenance The T-profile is used as a load-bearing element in many constructions. The reason for this is the high flexural strength and resilience of beams and rails with this cross-section. In what is probably the oldest linear rail, the railway rail, the T-profile has proven itself worldwide. You will also find T linear rails in the igus delivery program. We provide the drylin T linear rails in three different designs.
  • The standard drylin T linear rail in sizes 15 to 30 made of hard-anodized aluminum
  •  Weight-reduced drylin T linear rail in size 20 made of clear anodized aluminum
  •  drylin T miniature guide rail in sizes 7 to 15 made of hard-anodized aluminum.

Frequently asked questions about drylin® T rails

What are linear rails?

drylin® T are rails that were designed to have identical dimensions to those of conventional recirculating ball bearing systems. However the principle in movement is very different to ball bearings. The drylin® T is a sliding rail.

Where can I use linear rails?

The drylin® T can be used in various applications and environments. This robust rail is lubrication free and can guarantee a very long service life.

Why use igus® drylin® T?

As mentioned, these are great replacements for the recirculating ball bearing systems and require no lubrication so are very low maintenance. Their lifetime can also be calculated making the predictable.
