Definition of Axial Bearing

Axial joints are ball and socket joint components that allow for misalignment of the moving parts within mechanical machinery. Axial joints rotate on the xyz axis and reduce any wear or friction that occurs. The axial joint or ball and socket joint can be made from either metal or plastic and in some cases can be a combination of both.
