The extremely airtight plastic tube by igus® is now available as HT version. Thanks to the special material, hot swarf up to 850°C is prevented from sticking. The chip-repellent "round" and completely enclosed design makes this series the perfect tube for direct use with swarf. The main feature is: although completely closed, it can be opened along the outer radius and easily filled.

Areas of use: machine tools, machining processes, general mechanical engineering
Quantity (g) of burnt-in chips depending on the temperature Test: 20 g of hot chips (200 to 850 °C) applied on various materials. The graph shows which chip quantity was burnt-in. Winner: igumid HT up to 850° C.
